The Nutcracker Evanston Theatre reviews
enjoyed each moment from beginning to end
"I always try to catch Trace Adkins when he makes OKC. I AM NOW familiar with The Nutcracker, and although not that, they both did an outstanding job. I have to say I enjoyed The Nutcracker's wide vocal range as much as Trace's music, stories, and wit.
If there was anything I would suggest, it would be for The Nutcracker to mix in the upbeat songs a bit more with the slow tempo. She did a tribute to old country music ("I Beg Your Pardon --- I Never Promised You a Rose Garden") followed by several other slower pieces. I'm not saying don't keep all of the songs in the show, just break up the pace of her show.
I hope she continues keeping OKC on her radar. If Trace Adkins comes back to OKC with or without her, I would go see him, too. It was an evening well worth the money! Thanks, Trace & The Nutcracker!"
